EMT Pro is a study and training aid for students of the Lebanese Red Cross
Emergency Medical Services curriculum. It is not medical advice and must not be
used to diagnose or treat any real patient. In a real emergency, follow your service's current
protocols and your medical director's instructions, and call your local emergency number.
Content is drawn from the Lebanese Red Cross EMT manual for revision purposes; protocols change,
and the manual — not this app — is authoritative.
The short version
There are no accounts. We never ask for your name, email address, phone number or date of
birth. Your study progress stays on your own device. Two features send data to our server, and
both are described below.
What stays on your device
Your XP, streak, lives, lesson progress, quiz accuracy and per-topic statistics are stored in
your browser's local storage on the device itself. We cannot read it, and it is not sent anywhere.
Clearing the app's data or uninstalling removes it permanently.
What is sent to our server
Push notification registration. Only if you tap “Enable Notifications”. Your
browser generates an anonymous push endpoint URL and encryption keys; we store these so we can
send study reminders. They identify a browser installation, not a person. Turning notifications
off in your device settings stops them.
A “practised today” signal. When you finish a lesson or case, the app tells
our server that this push endpoint was active today, so the reminders stop for the day. No
scores or answers are sent.
AI case and Field Mode text. If you use the AI Case or Field Mode features,
the topic you pick and anything you type into Field Mode is sent to our server and forwarded to
Anthropic's Claude API to generate the scenario. Do not type real patient information, real
names or any personal detail into Field Mode.
Third parties
Anthropic (Claude API) — processes AI case and Field Mode text to generate
training scenarios. See Anthropic's privacy policy.
Your browser's push service (for example Google's FCM on Android) — delivers
notifications. It sees that a message was sent to your device.
There are no analytics, no advertising, no trackers and no third-party SDKs beyond the above.
We do not sell or share your data.
Server logs
Our web server keeps ordinary access logs, which include IP addresses, for security and
troubleshooting.
Retention
Push registrations are kept until you disable notifications, uninstall, or the push service
reports the registration as expired — at which point it is deleted automatically. AI case and
Field Mode text is processed to produce a reply and is not stored on our server as a transcript.
Children
EMT Pro is intended for emergency medical students and responders, and is not directed at
children under 13.
Your choices
Decline or revoke the notification permission at any time in your device settings.
Clear the app's storage to erase all progress held on the device.
Email us to have your push registration deleted from our server.
